Not exactly the same but sounds a bit related:

I’m leaning towards the relay or a connection either under the seat or the dash cluster. It seems to come and go with shocks from the road. I’ll try the relay first due to ease of access.

Any power loss at all?
Sounds like not, so wouldn't be a relay.. would be looking at a CAN bus wiring issue between ECU and cluster. However I wonder if your Bluetooth OBD reader being attached is a clue, perhaps knocking the CAN bus out for a short period? ![]() ![]() |

That has occurred to me and it did stop working once over the weekend.

Is your battery clamped tightly? When this kind of happened to me (most symptoms present) it was found that even with the battery "tightly" clamped, the battery would shake when wiggling the wires to check for tightness, I wound up putting on a thin lead sleeve between the posts and the clamps and that resolved the problem for me. First thing I checked but only a cursory wiggle I need to get the spanner’s out and check both clamps properly. Back to work and dad taxi yesterday so not had chance to look at much. I need to be methodical and check each of the suggestions made in turn otherwise I might fix it and not know how.

Mind you, my clamps were so tight that the whole battery would move when you shake the clamps. Still needed the sleeve to contact properly.
I would be driving then everything dies for a split second then move along like nothing happened except for some dash lights that would disappear after you start him up again. It was intermittent and no predicting when it would happen. After I added the sleeves, the issue went away and the truck ran much better. No Better Friend, No Worse Enemy |

Did you loose power as the dash dipped out? I was able to continue driving as normal.

It was a quick loss, like a blink. I was also able to drive normally while this was happening. It’s just alarming when it happens. You never know when that blink loss will be the last one before you’re stranded. No Better Friend, No Worse Enemy

This sounds like it could be my issue. I’ve tweeted the clamps but will sleeve them soon.
