Been in touch with Steven Baldwin a while ago. He had an engine for me but then when he went to inspect it, it was seized solid. So he wouldn't sell it.
he's stated he's breaking a petrol Defender soon and I can have that engine, but that was na while ago now 110 D250 SE HT 110 USW SOLD RRE HSE Dynamic Gone, wife killed it VOLVO XC60 R Dynamic with some toys Polaris RZR 900XP SOLD |

There were very few 2.5 petrol engines fitted to Defenders.
I believe you could order one in the UK for a short while in the first couple of years of Defender, but few were sold. These engines were mainly fitted to One Tens and Nineties. Might have some luck on: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1795604747343195/ As this group covers all coilsprung pre-Defenders, depite the title. |

I'm rebuilding a 1960 S2 88". Want to remove the diesel engine and fit a nice 2.5 petrol. Or at worst a 2 1/4 petrol 110 D250 SE HT 110 USW SOLD RRE HSE Dynamic Gone, wife killed it VOLVO XC60 R Dynamic with some toys Polaris RZR 900XP SOLD |
