As some of you remember, I was having coolant issues as well. The leak was due to an old hose that split but couldn't be seen when everything is installed.
As for my coolant eruption, we later found out my cylinder head had a crack on number 2. This resulted in coolant loss and pressurization to cause the eruptions plus, it clogged some of my oil galleries to the point that, for example if the oil passage is 1.5 mm, only 0.5mm was left for oil to pass. So a thorough cleaning was in order. Good thing I was already rebuilding my engine anyways so I went and changed whatever needed to be changed and upgraded what I could. My 110 is 2011 2.4 Puma, by the way. I also had a 2 toothed cylinder head gasket. No Better Friend, No Worse Enemy |
