2004 Defender 90 Td5 CSW Santorini Black

Lake District Help

I’m up in the Lakes with my V8, and the fuel pump has decided now is the time to start dying. Does anyone know of somewhere that can assist?

I have a spare Facet pump, I’m just not equipped to replace it on the side of the road . . .

Any help would be much appreciated. I’m based in Coniston for the week.

Sadly the local place has no capacity, nor does the nearby LR workshop. The specialist in Kendal can’t help, but I’ll have a look at the business in Ulverston.

You could try Cumbria Landrovers in Penrith, usually swamped with work but worth asking.

If you are able to do it yourself , but just need the tools, then perhaps a local member with the tools you need can loan them to you for the day.

I’ve got a couple of possible options for help being worked on at the moment.

The job isn’t beyond me, but I’ve fallen off a wall this week and am not in the most mobile state. I could easily do it at home with a second pair of hands and plentiful tools. Charlie
