Front Axle Breather tube pathway
I have a 1995 Defender 110 300TDI, the Axle Breather tube for the front Axle has "dropped" down so there is about 1 metre of slack tubing in the nearside wheel arch, its end (u) is just behind the engine, would anyone be able to tell what pathway the tube takes. there are a couple of clips on the slack tube but I cant see where they were attached.

many thanks in anticipation

They usually run along the nearside radius rod back to the chassis then up the bulkhead slightly to the nearside of centre.

In practice as long as it runs back to the chassis along the radius rod it doesn't really matter where it goes afterwards as long as it is as high as practicable and sheltered from wet.

There are a few clips, NRC9246, can use any regular cable to fix to axle tube and radius arm. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing
