1999 Defender 90 300 Tdi HT Woodcote Green

300 Tdi 50th Hardtop

Hi,

New to the forum, I joined as I'm about to spend some time getting the Defender back into daily use after years of being a third car. It's been decided it cannot be sold, so using it is the plan.

It had been downgraded to monthly runs to the tip, as a backup when the daily lets us down, and whenever something dirty was a good idea. So over this time it's had the oils changed regularly, and anything needed for the MOT or stops it being used has been resolved, but that's about it. So, it's time to give the car a going over, sort out the cappings, doors, body seals, and apply a bit of paint, as well as replace the bushes and suspension. Probably do a few minor improvements, like a heated front screen and some sound deadening, etc. It's also got little niggels that need sorting.

Hopefully, I can get some tips, advice, support, or just a shoulder to cry on.

If I can work out how to do a pic, I'll add one.
