Headlamp level switch wiring?
I have a 2008 2.4 Puma and the previous owner did a real hatchet job on the wiring and I have the headlamp leveling switch (AMR5874) but the wiring in the console has had all the connectors cut off so it's all loose wires.

The wiring diagram for the puma unfortunately doesn't show the pins on the leveling switch of which there are six: 1, 2, 3, 4, E1, E2 (E1 & E2 have a metal bar connecting them).

Does anyone know which is the power in, ground, and lighting contact on the switch?

^^ that view is looking into the plug terminals, so it is the mirror image of looking into the switch terminals.  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

Thanks Martin, I have the electrical manuals and looked at the wiring diagram before but I was thinking it couldn't be right since there wasn't multiple outputs for the 0,1,2,3 positions for the headlamp leveling motor.

The position of each motor is controlled down the blue/yellow wires. There isn’t an output for each height Smile  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

Martin, that explains why my attempts to figure out the switch positions with my multimeter were fruitless. Thanks for the insight!
