I already have the heating sorted in the shape of a large 35kw waste engine oil burner! Free fuel = free heat what’s not to like!!

The 110 has now done 148k so it's done nearly 20,000 miles in my ownership since September last year! and I have just replaced the knackered rear shocks for old man emu versions, what a transformation in the ride!
The Defender upgrades mirror arms have been fitted and work a treat! As have the window blocks I have also installed Optimill door hinges to replace the worn out originals. I plan to give it its first service next week (well over due yes I know!) Plus replace the split intercooler pipe I have just discovered no doubt caused by the regular towing I do for my Land Rover Defender dealer business. It has been to scotland 3 times towing, London twice, Devon twice, north Wales. 3 times and so on!  Click image to enlarge Plus my man cave is certainly earning its keep! I have since installed a 2 post ramp to make working on them a lot easier. and more efficient. The guy pictured is one of 2 contract mechanics I use to keep things rolling along! Fitted the mesh grille back on with standard headlight surrounds to replace the ghastly KBX rubbish it came fitted with.
Also changed the lights to LED Just need to find some LED headlights now I have a Warn Zeon 10s winch with bumper and a gen LR soft A bar I kept back from my old defender, I will be refitting it to this one once ive repainted the bumper and tidied up the corrosion on the winch. Went up to Snowdonia national park to collect a Keswick green 110 crew cab to sell on.

I have picked up some 18" twisted alloys on 285 wide BFG KO2 tyres for £650
I am thinking of getting these refurbed in a dark copper/bronze colour for something different! so lets see how that pans out!! I have also won some JW Speaker 8700 lights on ebay for £200 so hope to install these over the coming days 
110 is trooping along as always munching the miles up! Current niggles are come corrosion starting on bulkhead top corners chassis needs cleaning and recoating a full service is required. Air con needs a regas blower needs looking at as only blows warm/hot on cold finish replacing rest of doors with optimill Actually fit the full external roll cage thats been in my shed for 3 years! Hello Welshsurferdude,I notice you are based in Newport,what is your business name please? I ask as I had a not so great experience with a recent chassis change and although most of the work on mine is from the driveway it’d be good to know someone local with a lift who is familiar with the defenders should anything beyond the drive way arise in future!
