Now funny you should say this as my husband had the same when he washed my d350! I laughed at him as when I touched the drivers side window I didn’t get a shock but he did! A "static shock" is actually you shocking something. Basically a charge of electricity has build up in you/ your clothing and as the car doesn't have a similar charge it flows from you to the car. So typically caused by nylon socks rubbing on a carpet...
