Air Suspension Fault?
Hi All, new to the forum and have searched for similar issues but can't seem to find anything.

I have a 70 Plate Defender 110 with air suspension and recently it has started to squat at the front when left for approx 12 hours (Image attached).

I have only had the car less than a month and have bought it approved used from Land Rover so have the warranty thankfully.

Is there anything with the software that could be causing this or is it simply leaking air bags?
I have tried enabling/disabling access height multiple times to see if that has caused the issue, I have also left it in off-road height overnight too as it shouldn't squat then and still does. is there anything else I can try before taking it to the dealer?

The only thing making me think it is a software issue is that the car never seems to fully bottom out like the old D4s did, it just becomes a lot lower at the front.

Thanks for the Help

Some early cars suffered with front air spring leaks which were fixed under warranty.

Handy that your is under a used approved warranty.

Take a look at this thread:

Ahh thats very helpful thank you! Its a shame that the fix wasn’t done before selling me the car, so much for the 165 point inspection 🤣

Will take this to the dealer and hopefully get it sorted soon

Cheers🙏🏻

Yes it is a shame but of course totally expected from the main dealers, just keep their heads down and hope nobody notices the fault! 110 D250 S Hardtop Tasman Blue

Take the 165 point check with a skip full of salt. Useless most of the time I’m afraid MY25 90 D350 X-Dynamic HSE in Silicon Silver and coil sprung

Just to update you all to where this has got to!

Dropped it to my local dealer (far away from where I bought it from) and mentioned the fault, as well as the SSM message, They couldn't find anything the first time but on further inspection they agreed it needed both front Air Struts replaced, They have ordered the parts and are waiting to do the work.

There has been a 4/5 day hold up as the Warranty company is now analysing documents from the dealer which I bought the car from to see if they actually did any checks before selling me the car! Fingers crossed it doesn't get messy and one of them pays out.

Fingers crossed that you don't get too much grief. At least they agree there is a problem so you're halfway there. 110 D250 S Hardtop Tasman Blue
