Puma aircon puzzle
I have an "interesting" problem with the aircon on my Puma 2.2.
When the aircon button is pressed in (and lights up) the fan comes on at low speed regardless of where the speed contoller is positioned and there is no cold air circulating. Also no sign of engine revs changing.
Spinning the fan speed controller does nothing also.
I have checked the fuse R28 and it appears to be fine although I will replace it once I receive some new ones just in case it is giving no power.
Has anybody suffered this type of problem before ? Any pointers gratefully received.

Sorry, have no idea about gas levels and as far as I know it has never been re-gassed but couldn't swear to that.
It just seemed strange that when the aircon button was activated the fan was on low speed regardless of whether the speed dial was on 0,1,2 or 3, which seems to point to a fuse/relay or both perhaps.
Once my new fuses arrive I will swap out R28 just in case, then if no joy I'll try to get the problem diagnosed - all this is way beyond my skill set !!!!!
Thank you for your help.

The coupé fan will always be on when A/C is activated. This is to prevent freezing in the heater matrix.

The fan runs slow whenever the AC switch is pressed but should speed up once speed 2 or 3 is selected.
