An example of a 14" SPAL fan that would fit the brackets nicely.

Hi, looking to replace my condenser on my 2014 110 TDCI SW, clearly the original is very expensive so looking at the alternative ones on Maltings 4x4 and ebay. Does the SPAL fan I have seen mentioned on other posts fit the Maltings condenser?

Also how much gas is required in this condenser as it appears to be physically larger than the original as it does not have a frame? I di search but could only find the mass required for the standard one at 600g + or - 25g.

Thanks in advance.

Mark

I can't help you directly but I have bought a similar condenser. I plan on having it refilled by an experienced AC tech. Back in the day, it was all done with gauges. I used to do quite a few that way too. Been a while for me so I'll leave to a tech with more recent experience.
