Octa recall
Saw a non first edition Octa advertised on a Land Rover dealers website at £160k curiosity got the better of me as I couldn’t work out what you could add in options to get to that price, I asked the dealer if they were selling over retail he went through the spec then admitted - yeah it is 5k over retail, what a joke, even more so when I asked what the build time was he said I could get one by this June. Why would anyone pay £5k over?

Anyway to the point of the thread, I asked if it could be seen as it’s currently a demo he said it couldn’t be driven as Land Rover has announced a recall something to do with the suspension and a shield if I recall correctly.

Sounds like an excuse to me, can't see why that would mean it can't be driven.

There's a review of the Octa in this week's Autocar magazine. They said it was basically in a class of one.

Having watched the early reviews I can believe it. I really want one but will wait and see where they end up price wise used.

There just a recall for the defender 425. A software problem with the dynamic modus. It may be the same problem …
