Why that size?

Remoulds used to be great when they were cheap. But they cost as much or sometimes more than new non remoulds. In which case I don’t see why you would.

Don’t get me wrong. I have at least 3 sets of remoulds. But they are all extreme mud terrain patterns bought for competitive trials use. For normal road or mild off roading use. I really would be looking at non remould tyres unless they were a super deal. Eg it really wasn’t all that long ago you could get remoulds in 235/86R16 for £50-70 a corner.

I’d bite the bullet and change to a more usual size and get away from the frustration of an odd size. 2008 2.4 110 Utility Station Wagon XS.

There are other sizes with a similar diameter that you might find more options in. Have a look here: https://tiresize.com/calculator/

But I don't really understand scrimping on tyres. At the end of the day, they are the only think in contact with the road and in the grand scheme of running a car are more of a minor cost overall. I'd be tempted to look at getting 4 matching tyres of a suitable size that you want.
