Soft Close Tailgate Issue

Thought I would post on this as I just installed the soft close tailgate on my new 2025 130 and it has been quite buggy. My assumption is that it has to do with the approach and walk away locking which now comes on the 2025 (no ccf update required) as in some instances when the door is opened the motor just continues to cycle and which point the doors closed and cannot be reopened without the some creative unlock/lock sequences or one really hard yank to release it. Any thoughts on if there is a CCF thats need to be updated to account for this?

Try turning off the walk away locking on the pivi screen settings.

I have a new 2025 90 with soft close, I’ve found similar, I now hold the little door button in the handle in until opened, seems to work.

If it’s any consolation it might be normal. My 21 model which has a factory fitted soft close door does this occasionally. It seems to get stuck in cycle and fails to let you open. As said, a quick cycle of the lock then unlock resets it. 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV
