1986 Defender 110 2.5 n/a Diesel SW Baltic Blue

Starting the engine.....

I've just changed the oil on my P400e and would like to start the engine, how do I do that without taking it for a drive?

Maybe use the remote app to pre heat the car. It gives me two options and one is starting the engine.

Or drive 10meter with a harsh tap on the throttle. This usually starts the engine also immediately

My app doesn’t show a start the engine option, it states that the battery will be used to power climate control.

I ended up just taking it for a drive, however, I would have preferred to start the engine in the garage and check for filter leaks.

To close this thread out and help folks who want to start their engine after an oil change. You can start the engine with the start/stop button by putting the vehicle in wade mode.

Put it in D and put the gearbox in sport.
