Keep it standard or otherwise you could end up with a marmite on your hands.
But then I don’t like bling, so I am biased….. |

Whats an urban kit? By the naming I'm assuming it probably will look rather dreadful, but I don't want to pre-judge....

Also known as Urban Pack. Google it looks awesome 😃. But again that’s my opinion

I think your right Mark, I may just keep it standard as come resale time I won’t see most of the £13000 investment.

I ended up with Urban wheels, interior black bolts and their spare wheel cover. The kit is too stock looking for the price. I went with another aftermarket setup and the Land Rover dealer locally says it looks a lot better than the Urban kitted Defender: I would save your money and run it stock for awhile. Enjoy it. 23 LBW/Urban Defender X 20 Velar Autobiography |

Not sure I’d classify £13000 of plastic bling as an ‘investment’. It’s just dead money. Besides, do you really want to look like a drug dealer, or even worse, a footballer? |

In any case, will be a shoddy and very poor, drug dealer, or a second division footballer, because those in the Premier League will go in OCTA🫢 Defender 110 SE I6 D250 23MY

I like the alloys used by Urban. The rest is… let’s say good if you keep the car 6/12 months.
All that clatter on the body of The defender will look outdated in hours….making it difficult to sell… |

lf the O/P likes the Urban kit then why not, it's his truck. l bet residuals will still be better than most vehicles.
l know someone who spent £17,000 on speaker cables for their HI-FI. What would the residual value be on those, l wonder. |

I straggle to see Urban upgrade as a valuable upgrade. You’ll not make your money back and it will be more difficult to resell. Urban vehicles are around 6/12 months. After that their market is dead.
There will always be somebody appreciating it. However it’s not a modification you do to get more money when you resell. It is definitely something worth only if you like it. |
