New broom running the Classics with a brief to turn a profit; as I understand it, all regular stuff is done in house at Ryton with only a very small amount of specialist stuff farmed out. Expensive but no dearer than other premium brands - and with a factory stamp in your book. I like to do my own routine servicing but for something like a clutch swap or other one off I would consider using them - but they have the advantage of being quite local to me.

I guess if you have just bought your Works re-born Landrover Defender or what ever they call it at £150K plus it seems fair value...
Not sure if its aimed at the old school brigade with our loved vehicles They will however still rust the same |

I need a job dreaming up these kind of prices Still, if they can find idiots to spend £499 on an oil and filter change, who am I to mock? |

This is listed as part of the Defender major service (my emphasis):
It seems they don't even know the vehicles they are to service. It's laughable really. Who needs a dealer to top up the screenwash? |

In that service they don’t change the transfer box oil, yet do change the coolant |

No one's forcing anybody to use JLR Classics, hopefully some well-heeled owners will.
If they don't make a profit a man in a suit will put his red pen through the whole set-up and then another resource will be lost for good. The guys on the tools are real enthusiasts for both Jaguar and Land Rover. |

If you have the money to ‘waste’, then there probably isn’t a better place to go. I think it’s a good thing JLR are trying to keep the classics going. 2017 5.0 V8 Supercharged RRS SVR

Sadly I paid just a little less for the first minor service at the local stealer "because of warranty". £20 a litre. Times seven. Then for the first major service they did the diff oils and charged £40 a litre - I had to constrain myself not to burn the bl*dy place down |
