TDi Dixon Bate Fitting Help
Hi All!

My time starting a thread so apologies if this is the wrong area. I have a conundrum where I bought a Dixon Bate 202023 drop plate at Malvern today but one of the braces is interfering with my exhaust, has anyone else experienced this or do I perhaps have a replacement exhaust that doesn't sit where it should?

Also I am missing the angle bracket that bolts onto the underside of the cross member and could really do with a full new set of bolts for it so if anyone knew where to get these I would be very grateful.

Have attached a few images to help explain my issue.

Does the brace piece otherwise line up with the hole in the chassis bracket okay? If it does then the problem is more likely with the exhaust.

The angle piece for underneath the crossmember is just a bit of thick steel equal angle. I’m not sure if it’s available separately pre-made but if someone can measure one for you it could easily be made up.

Bolts are just standard M16 of the necessary length and at least 8.8 grade. Smaller ones into chassis brackets at the end of the braces, M10 rings a bell but don’t quote me.

Thanks for the reply Retroanaconda!

Yes LHS fits grand, just the RHS not lining up. I might remove the exhaust and then try to jiggle it all around. Sound, I'll nip to the local ag supply and get some bolts then.

If someone was kind enough to measure their bracket and let me know which holes it should fit on the crossmember making a bracket like you suggest could be a good option.
