Rear wiper
Hello all

I have a 1986 110,


I’ve replaced the wiring loom front to back with a loom from a 2002 td5 15p

defender,

It has both wiper and washer switch on dash
where would the rear wiper live pick up from?
Also colour of wires

You’ll need to change the wiring on the back door to match the chassis loom - you need a 2002-> rear door loom.

These incorporate a relay onto the back door, which starts and parks the wiper. The relay is triggered from a switched earth, from the dash wiper switch.  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

It’s ok there is no wiring in the rear door no wiper motor either 😂

So comes thu chassis loom

Is it possible I’ve got a wrong chassis loom as I’ve not seen any extra plugs other then what would be td5 electric fuel pump (not used on mine as I’ve a 200 tdi)

Any idea of wire colours I’d need on chassis loom?

You are looking for a 6 pin connector with 5 wires used:

White/green, black, black/green, white/black, green/purple.  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top
2015 D90 XS SW

what amp wire from battery to td5 heater plug relay?

need to go from battery to relay then relay to plugs.
