How many bolts hold your roof tent down?
Hello All,

I purchased an Eezi-Awn roof tent on eBay and it came with four bolts and reinforcement plates. Is this correct - doesn't seem much to hold down 60Kg of tent.

Many thanks,

Peter Defender 11MY USW

Four plates, eight stainless bolts. Howling Moon on Patriot. Seems fine.

I take it on and off a bit and replace the nyloc nuts when I do.

Six bolts, but four would be enough.

Autohome stuff (Maggiolinas and Overlands) are supplied with four clamps (eight bolts in total) as standard.
