I was sentenced on the spot!!
The issue was that I didn’t want them to register my car for me. I wanted to do it myself. Because this wasn’t their “normal” way of doing things, they cause problems. They then started telling me all sorts of lies like “you are not permitted to buy a JLR vehicle and not get it registered immediately.” And “Land rovers don’t need winter tires (in Germany) because they have a special dispensation”. I didn’t believe this!! The boss then called me, and after 45 mins of arguing I said “I am not going to say thank you for this call (since they hadn’t backed down on anything… I had just had to accept everything that they wanted) but I wish you a good evening.” I then put the phone down. The boss called me back and SHOUTED at me and cancelled the order for the car that I had placed (and was supposed to be collecting two days later) and had banished me from the dealership!!! All I can say is that I am glad that I won’t ever go back there!! |
