its not the correct battery for the truck and doesn't look to be fixed in place either
you have a couple of options go back to the correct one, fit a twin battery set up , or maybe modify the battery box itself as some of the aftermarket ones are flat floor and allow for some different positioning of batteries and extras. |

I believe the factory original battery was a 072 which has dimensions of 266L x 175W x 220H.
It was very very common that these were "upgraded" to a 110 battery which has dimensions of 317L x 175W x 175H. The reason was the bigger capacity and sometimes better CCA. It looks like yours might be bigger than a 110, unless it is sitting on something. Your battery is 329L x 171W x 240H so the additional height and length is your problem. |

I will order a new battery for now, long term I think I will go down the duel battery route. |
