TD5 Console Conversion
I am looking for information/knowledge on parts and possible options. I have a 1997 300TDI that I am looking to upgrade the interior on, I want to do a TD5 double din conversion. Can buy any of the parts needed for the conversion new or where is a good place to get used one. I know you can get a TD5 double din face plate from MUD but other than that I have seen any other parts. I'm also looking for a spare lower dash and up dash panels.

Fitting the Mud double DIN is fairly straightforward, but obviously requires some dismantling. Take photos as you go just in case.

When I changed the console to the double DIN, I also changed the binnacle Mount, because the original was cracked and barely holding together! Raptor sell a metal binnacle mount that is much stronger than the original plastic one.

Raptor also sell a metal binnacle end plate, but I have no experience of this.
