Defender Octa
Hi, has anyone else registered interest for this model?
I’ve been waiting for this release since the first spot pics came out.
Managed to get on a list and an invite to a private event to spec and discuss details on the car.

I did, but very little info in USA other than the few YouTube’s. Dealer doesn’t even know what models (90, 110, 130) it may come in. Dealer hopes to get more info soon. I have mixed feelings. I have a Mercedes E63s so I really don’t need another speed machine. But I didn’t NEED the Mercedes either. Hard to imagine significant interior upgrades. And then there is the suspension. D90X 2023.5

This is very strange, paid my deposit via LR after the dealer put me forward but no invite as yet - did the invite come from the dealer or LR direct please? Gas, Grass Or Ass - Nobody Rides For Free

"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.

I’ve had an email to sign an NDA but the link to sign doesn’t work. Did you have to sign anything?
Apparently LR are taking the deposits and spec at the events which are going to be held in May and also at Goodwood apparently.

I’m hoping to get more info next week

Sorry but from what I understand you have to pay the deposit before your invited to the event in May - no deposits are being taken at the events from my understanding Thumbs Up Gas, Grass Or Ass - Nobody Rides For Free

It would be funny if the price exceeds the maximum value of Land Rovers own (joke) Insurance.

Its coming to that time when manufacturers are going for their last hurrah before they go EV and then out of business...... Whistle

Never understood the logic of making a vehicle ‘more off road ready’, then pricing it in a way the enthusiast could never afford and the ‘banker’ buying it will never want to get their brown loafers dirty.

Better off buying a Wolf, a darn sight cheaper and more fun and looks super cool. In my lower budget opinion…. Whistle
