Old Defender but point still relevant. We were at a hotel with an adjacent car park building. I checked the height restriction and it said "2.4m" at the entrance. That seemed adequate. I just walked to check things out and just inside the entrance there was a large ceiling mounted pipe suspended from the ceiling. This reduced the height to under 2m, so it is always wise to double check these things.
Likewise height barriers. Sometimes they retar underneath which brings the surface closer to the height bar. Nearly got caught out with this! 1982 88" 2.25 diesel
