ACC with G4
Using the parameters identified in the sticky post, I enabled the items below as directed, but not able to get ACC to work. Another post listed some others so enabled those as well. Still doesn't work.

-I've got the 2 distance buttons now lit up on the right hand thumb pad on the steering wheel
-- they do nothing, no visual indicator of action
-In the vehicle settings for cruise, I now have a setting for adaptive cruise distance, which is close, normal and far (I think), but if I change it from close to normal, it switches back to close after 10 seconds or so
-there is no gap button lit on the left hand thumb pad above the barrel wheel
-pushing the +/- lever in doesn't seem to do anything

I am certain I am missing something fundamental, but I do not know what it is (or I wouldn't be asking Smile ) Open to any suggestions!

Open to any guidance. I reset to previous condition and started over. Based on Hairy Dan's sticky post, I enabled these 3. the buttons on the right hand side of the steering wheel light up. Nothing else happens. The button on the left hand side does not light up. Are there additional procedures necessary to get it to work? Calibrating cruise ecu, or something like that?

I’ve had a couple activations still not work after a couple Pivi resets, but then start working in the next day or two. Configurable Terrain Response was one. Enabled with a G4, nada. Pivi reset nada. Repeat, nada. Next day, works.

Here's what I did on mine last week.

This is a copy/paste from someone else's work that I followed along with.
Once it was done I had to manually clear the DADC errors by going into the faults tab and clearing them after leaving the car sit for an hour locked with the alarm set.

As far as operations... I do wonder if you did activate it, but aren't using it right?

Once you see the two arrow buttons enabled on the right side of the wheel you should be ready to go.

Get onto a motorway and set the cruise for slightly higher than the car in front of you. Now select the short arrow button to draw down the distance between the two of you. You should get a graphic on the dash that shows some big green blocks that you add and subtract with the short and long arrow buttons.
That's it.. it's on. When you are locked onto the car in front of you, you will see a green indicator light on the dash that is different than the "cruise on" indicator.

There are no buttons related to the cruise or ACC on the left side of the steering wheel.

Give these files a look and let us know how it goes. Don't give up yet, you're close!

Start here...

Activate ACC Auto Cruise Control
1,2,3,4 first, then any optional ones if it doesn’t work

1 EUCD-023 Cruise Control
Standard: Without cruise control
Changed to: Adaptive Cruise Control Stop & Go

2 MultiCAN-580 PTCruiseFitment
Standard: Normal cruise fitted
Changed to: ACC with Queue Assist fitted

3 MultiCAN-809 ACC Stop Gap Setting
Standard: Not fitted
Change to: Fitted

4 MultiCAN-712 ACC Lead Car Dist Disp
Standard: Fitted
Changed to: Fitted
* this was already set on my car
____________________________________________________________________
I also set these parameters, cause I read about it somewhere.
But what does this really it do?

MultiCAN-753 Adaptive Prog Mode
Standard: Not fitted
Changed to: Fitted
And I found other settings, which are listed as unsupported,
but sounded interesting to ACC.
Perhaps some defaults to set in the PIVI – but did not find anything yet

?MultiCAN-712 MultiCAN-712 ACC Stop Gap Select
?Standard: Not supported
?Changed to: Fitted

?MultiCAN-712 ACC Accel Profile Select
?Standard: Not supported
?Changed to: Fitted
Optional?
X MultiCAN-503 IntelCruiseCtrl
Standard: Not supported
Change to: ICC not fitted

Thanks. i've given up for the moment trying to get it to work/engage. I'm sure as more folks do it we'll see more guidance or specifics on any process nuance. 2020 SE First Edition

Quick update to close this out. Updated to latest build (as of Monday), build 98 from build 80 and tried again. It now reflects a lot more steps in resetting ecu’s, etc (these may have been happening before but there was no visual feedback, now there is). Now the functions work as expected for the most part.

Now that I have it activated fully, ACC works great for me. There is none of the surging and abruptness that some have reported and it’s pretty smooth on my regular 100mile trip. 2020 SE First Edition
