Bulkhead with Vent Flap Bracket Missing
Hi all,

I bought a very good condition second hand bulkhead for my Defender.

It’s been on a 300tdi 110 from new that was broken up due to rust in the chassis. There are a lot of rusty Defenders sitting about up here in the north of Scotland.

There are two odd things about it.

The first is that it appears to be e-coated. I’ve never seen one that had this treatment. That explains why it survived so well.

The second and most puzzling is that the LHS vent flap bracket is missing and has never been there. I’ve seen a good few bulkheads but never seen this before.

For some reason the pics I’ve posted are not uploading….

Any ideas about the flap bracket?

Just to be sure - the bulkhead had an eyelet on the right hand side that stabilizes the steering column.

It's not this that's causing confusion, is it?

A picture would be helpful if you can manage it, it’s maybe too big? You can upload it and then you have to select them from the list.

It may be one of the multi fit bulkheads that Craddock were selling.
