Aussie insurance companies are no better. Been with one for almost longer than i care to remember. Have house cara, bikes etc with them. New defender was insured fullcomp for aud 1346 (about 650 quid) from 20.4.23 to 20.4.24. Renewal just came in, they said a "mild increase due to rise in administration costs".

Premium went up 77% to just under aud 2500!!!!

Shopped around today and found a good deal at aud 1546 same excess and same level of insurance.

I'm in North London, Admiral seemed cheapest on the moneysupermarket comparison site. With business and leisure use = $1700 with £500 excess. (up £500 from last year).
