[No longer Wanted] Max Raxx fixing plate
I am seeking a right handed tow bar flange fixing plate for the Maxx Raxx cycle carriers.

It needs to look like the one in this photo below please.

I have managed to acquire an unused carrier but bizarrely it came with a left fitting plate Big Cry Proud owner 110 Utility XS

Nothing to do me, but complete lot on eBay….and open to offers. But you have to collect.

Mine came with the opposite hand bracket to the one shown in your photo, which I understand is the same as the one you have, but it didn’t cause me any issues in terms of fitting or use. Have you got an accessory at the rear that requires the opposite fitting?

Thanks Daz110, I might need to go the full lot if I can’t find a plate on its own.

Interestingly Screbble, the reason I need a right handed bracket is because the upright has a kink to the left, which in theory means the carrier sits pretty much plumb centre when fitted to the right.

However, if I use the left handed fitting it pushes the carrier too far to the left.

Does that make sense?

Is that going on a Defender then?…..if so it doesn’t look as if it will clear the spare wheel if you have one fitted to the back door of your Defender.

Yes that does make sense! The dogleg on mine is outward to clear the spare wheel not left or right 👍

I seem to recall that MaxRaxx sell pretty much every spare part - might be worth a call?
