[For Sale] Second Row Door Check Strap Kit/Parts
I have a surplus kit from SP4x4 for RH second row door, as per https://www.sp-4x4.com/BFH710150_p/jwp1408.htm . All still in packages.

£15 posted or £10 collected from M1 J31

Also have a pair of the brackets which fit to the rear footwell kickplate which the second row door checkstraps attach to. Both brand new in package (MRC4753 & MRC4754).

£10 posted or £5 collected from M1 J31

Cheers,
Steve

Could I take the check strap please - subject to checking dimensions of it please?

I think the later doors had longer straps than earlier, would you be able to measure from centre of pivot roller to fixing hole for me please?

Many thanks,

Hi Martin,

No problem, i will measure for you, the parts catalogue shows the same part numbers (BFH710140/BFH710150) for both older and newer doors (1987-2016) though.

Cheers,

thanks Steve, much appreciated.

I know part # covers both new and old but I've got new style doors and old check straps fitted and I'm convinced they don't open as far as they used to/should.

No rush for the info.

Afternoon,

Measured it today and its approx 195mm centre to centre (not measuring along the curved arm). If that helps?

Cheers,
Steve

Thanks, just checked mine and they appear to be 185mm so not quite sure what’s going on there.

Not sure if 10mm difference will do much to door opening, think perhaps I’ll look I to the door opening extension kits the likes of YRM sell - that would cover both sides for a similar price with hopefully guaranteed results!

Appreciate you measuring but think I’ll pass on this occasion
