[For Sale] 2011 2.4 Puma 90HT

I’m no longer able to operate the clutch on my beautiful Defender even with the LOF clutch spring. So after mothballing it for the last three months which has helped my knee recover, I’ve decided to offer it out for sale.

If you looking for a great example you’ll have to look at many to find one as good as this, and probably need a mortgage to afford it.

I’m looking for offers no less than £20K, and for that you’ll receive the vehicle as shown in the pictures that has covered only 63,000 miles with a full service history. As well as loads of nice enhancements its recently had Discs & Pads all round with new servo and servo vac pump. I have an extensive list of history on an excel document that I can share, the vehicle folder also holds the corresponding paperwork confirming work done.

The private plate will be removed and the appropriate age related plate fitted. I suspect it will be the original dvla issued one returning to it

Just a snapshot of some things done that you can’t see from the pics,

Full Zeibart chassis treatment
Full interior sound proofing (including the bulkhead) so you can hear yourself think while driving
Electric Windows
Truck light led headlamps
IRB 425 140bhp remap

Just had an LOF one piece intermediate shaft upgrade and a price reduction against the advice of my local LR specialist.

Ideally looking for a VW T6 so if anyone has one a deal could be an option? Ride like you stole it!!

Yes, I’ve already had one priced to install, but lifestyle activities are now pulling me in a different direction. Ride like you stole it!!

Still not using my Defender although owning it gives me great pleasure and superb to look at…

Would consider a low mileage tidy T6 VW as a PX. Ride like you stole it!!

With a new company vehicle arriving soon, I’m open to sensible offers.

My local dealer is still adamant that as a nice example its worth circa £27k, but the market is in a very uncertain place currently. Ride like you stole it!!

Revised price to reflect the struggling market, if anyone is interested in a nice well kept 90 HT. it’s still sorn as there is still salt on the roads and my left knee is still struggling.

Looks like prices are on the rise again, we buy any car have increased their offer on mine by £1340 since I last checked 3 months ago, and it’s been on a road trip so has an extra 1k on the odo. If this is the trend in 12 months time they might get closer to its actual value.

Thanks Jim,

It is lovely but I need something bigger for a new business venture. It wants for nothing so could be teased from me for £20k. Which is a lot less than Sytner Land Rover said I should sell if for before the prices started to recover. Ride like you stole it!!

The time has arrived where I now have two offers on the table for my pride and joy, we buy any van has insulted me with an offer of £16,340 for it, or I can partx it against a new van for £18k. Both disappointing for such a nice example 90 which I honestly believe is worth much more.

Because I need a van I’m seriously considering the partx option but wanted to see if any Defender 2net enthusiast would like to benefit in obtaining it at the trade partx price of £18k. The down side is I need to agree the deal with the dealer quickly to secure my new van.

Anyone interested in getting a bargain? (Please note the private plate would be replaced for an age appropriate one) Ride like you stole it!!

A customised Defender like this is a very personal thing, some will love it, and some won’t like it. If you have the luxury of time, then someone will eventually come along. Unfortunately, as stated, you need rid of it pretty quickly, so i’d agree with WSD and take the 18k.

Might be worth a bit more if you put it back to standard. 🤷🏼‍♂️ 2006 TD5110 station wagon
