Paint Correction w/ Ceramic Coating
I've had my 22 Defender 110 X-Dynamic SE for about a month now and finally had to address the horrible swirl marks. Like most used cars it had been slathered with a cheap spray on wax that hid the true horrors beneath the surface. Here are the swirls on the doors with a before and after pic:

Here are the tools used:

Flex XCE 8 18.0-EC (5 and 6 inch pads)

Flex PXE 80 12.0-EC (1 to 3 inch pads)

Thanks for the comments! For those worried that I never plan to use this Defender for it's intended purpose, rest assured if will get dirty again very soon Twisted Evil . It just had so many swirl marks in the paint I just couldn't live with it. The first owner must have washed it with a wire brush. 22 Defender 110 X-Dynamic SE

I picked my black 130 up on Saturday and it’s an 8 month old ex-demonstrator, to be fair was pretty clean from swirls. I don’t doubt they had someone in mopping it over to tidy it up pre-collection. It’s going in to a local detailer on Thursday for paint correction and ceramic coating. Mine won’t see much off road dirt as it’s a tow car / people carrier rather than a mud plugger.having said that if the opportunity arises……………

The 130 size really works on the Defender, l think it looks if anything better than the 110.
