Door Cards Questions for 2002 TD5
Hi,
my old door cards are bridle and I got the cheapo hard plastic door cards which fit like Sh... so I'm again on the market for getting the OEM ones. However I see there are the ones for up to 2004 and the ones till the end of the TD4s.

I have the 2002 Defender with the updated center console, the electric windows and central locking

EJB000720LOY -EJB000730LOY are stating electric window but not if they are fit for central lock.
LR055515 - would be the version according to SP4x4 fitting for late td5 and td4.

so its kind of confusing to know which one is the right fit ...

(I did however replace my doors with the SP4 aftermarket doors that are listed as BDA710030)

As always thank you for sharing your insights

Do your doors have 1 piece pressed frames (like Puma/late Td5) or the welded/fabricated frames?

From the part number you probably have the fabricated ones, so you'd need the earlier (pre 2005) door cards.

Which you need will depend on colour and whether you have electric windows or not. Central locking does not make a difference as far as I know.  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

If you look inside at the top of the door frame you will be able to tell as per Martin’s response - the earlier doors have a square frame with a visible diagonal weld/seam. The later doors do not.

Will at SP 4x4 will no doubt help you if you give him a call.
