Help identifying v8 fan shroud to improve cooling?
Hi there, I'm trying to identify the correct cooling shroud piece I need to find to improve the cooling of my v8 "Defender" a bit more.

I say "Defender" in quotes because it's actually a bit of a hybrid with a shortened RRC frame, with a newer defender body on top.

Now from the pics I'm guessing that when this conversion was done, the engine is actually a bit further back than usually expected, which I aim to improve with a extension to the rad shroud / fan cowl however it'd be much better if I could also fit what I am assuming is missing at the top of the shroud/cowl.

If anyone can identify a suitable part number I'd really appreciate it!

Looks like the standard Discovery/RRC 3.9/4.2 MA on cowling, similar part was used on the NAS and Aniversary 4.0L Defenders too ESR3226

Brilliant, thanks both! BTW, does the fan look far back to you also?

It does look slightly further back, the cowling only just clears the alternator when the engine is in the correct position. Is your gearbox/transfer box on the correct V8 mounting brackets?
