Land Rover supplied diamond cut Boost’s?
Hi all

I currently have these fitted to my 2003 TD5 XS.

The rim appears to be diamond cut. Would these have been a special supplied by Land Rover or has someone had them made up specially?

Those rims were originally fitted to Discovery's and the Tomb Raider edition Defenders. The colours are generally grey, so expect that someone has had them reconditioned at some point and changer the internal colour.

Have always loved those style Boost alloys Thumbs Up But they are getting harder to come by in good condition now.

Thanks Geo

Interesting…. I don’t actually like them that much and was thinking of either swapping them for plain silver boost alloys or getting them stripped back and having them sprayed silver.

It’s funny, as I thought that I had seen the diamond cut part before, but as you say they were fitted to the Tomb Raider editions.

No problem. I few all liked the same things life would be incredibly dull. I personally cannot stand the look of the Mach 5 style rims but I do like the way that the boost alloys diamond cut ring breaks up the rim and tyre. It is the same reason I like white lettering on tyres.
