[For Sale] 2009 2.4 TDCI engine and gearbox.. OFFERS
Hi all

My 130 has decided to blow its coolant out several times now and I'm going to bite the bullet and put an M57 and associated gearbox in.
The engine and gearbox have done approximately 75,000 miles and have a good service history. Undoubtedly the right person will fix it with no issue but I'm out of patience.

The engine has NEVER overheated as all three times I have been driving locally and the steam from the coolant spewing out of the expansion bottle and over the manifold gives the game away pretty much intstantly !
It may be a simple fix, it may not.
The gearbox is faultless, smooth and even has a Short shift-R V2 installed !

Either way, open to offers.
The engine is currently in the 130 and you are most welcome to start / drive etc. It will be coming out in a couple of weeks . I'm in South Cornwall, between Truro and St Austell.
I will need to talk to my mechanic who's helping to install the M57 as to what bits I may need to keep.

Had this been a TDI then I'd be rebuilding it myself ... but it isn't !
Feel free to PM me https://www.instagram.com/hustynminepark/

Mo,

I've been following your posts with interest !
I just wish I could have stretched to a X-Drive 8 speed gearbox but I was offered a really good donor 2wd 530. let's see what happens

I'll miss the manual, not everyone agrees but it's my preference https://www.instagram.com/hustynminepark/

Try and get a 6hp26x autobox from an X5, it had a transfer box bolted to it so has a much better mounting face for the adapter. You can sell the 2wd box on for good money. The Land Rover 90 - Many are called, few are chosen.
