[Wanted] WANTED: Defender 90 / Discovery 1 Rear Axle

After finding a significant amount of rust (quelle suprise) on the rear spring mounts I think the most effective way of me fixing the issue is to get hold of a full rear axle and recondition it, as I don’t have the facilities to sit the landy anywhere without a rear axle!

Looking for a full / part / anything rear axle in relatively good condition that will fit a D90 200tdi

So almost all 90 rears and Discovery 1 rears (from what I understand)

Will take a full axle with all peripheries or just the bare axle case but all mounts must be intact and structurally sound with nothing other than surface or light rust.

Proximity to London beneficial but happy to pay the shipping on a good axle.

Let me know what you’ve got or if you know anywhere / anyone with a good rear axle!

Try Steve Baldwin at Baldwin 4x4 in south Wales

he breaks a lot of defenders and is quite reasonable
