Nice. I'm looking at building a similar set up. I'm in the US in a few weeks but thinking of coming in via Toronto and popping in to see Lucky 8. I like their kit and I have a shopping list.....

What kit are you looking at? Their rods just seem to be same idea as all others or is it the SYA kit you are looking at?

I'm looking at lots of things, besides, I just fancy visiting and looking at their set up. Eiger Grey MY23 D250 SE with bits. Known as Noddy.

No worries. The SYA kit is quite interesting, but not a huge amount of info or pictures on it. I see they also offer a similar kit for the D3/4 and L320 RRS.

I have driven Justin’s Defender 130 with the SYA’s on it. They give the lifted vehicle back that nice stock ride. His 130 has the 1.5 lift rods and he’s running Nitto 35’s…the kit is well worth the money in my book.

From the limited info I've been able to find. I'm guessing it must limit up travel somehow compared to stock?

I understand why they have limit straps, but I'm not sure I really like that as a solution. Just seems a bit of a bodge/workaround. And in the UK I'd have thought such straps exposed to the elements and road salt in winter wouldn't last long and just rot through and fail when you want to be relying on them.
