Adding in a lighter socket - help?
Help please 👍

So in the new 90 I have 2 USB plugs and 2 blanks in the rear of the ctr consul and I would like to add a cigarette lighter type socket to run the power to my CB which is temporarily mounted on the cubby box lid.

If I connect it to the front lighter socket it stops me opening the cubby box as the cable is short.

So I either lengthen the power wires on the CB or fit a lighter socket in the rear.

I see Powerfuluk sell the twin power outlet taking power from the USB socket but say not to use it as a lighter socket cable as it may not have enough power or it might blow fuses!

Anyone done this and how please? Gas, Grass Or Ass - Nobody Rides For Free

Out of interest - did you end up putting a new socket into one of the blanked sockets? I am interested to know if there is a wiring harness behind the blanking plates... Defender 130 Outbound, MY24, D300 Dynamic HSE, Carpathian Grey
