[Wanted] Cheap Bikini hood canvas. Series or Defender
Just want to put a simple cover on my farm truck hybrid I am building. I reckon I could make a bikini canvas do the job. Won't be using Land Rover mounting stuff so will be able to utilise series or defender type. Doesn't need to be pretty or waterproof but preferably not damaged and cheap. Anyone got one lying round in the back of a shed? Ability/willingness to post to South East Wales or use other means of movement obviously also a factor.

WHY

I am sure I have a Defender Bikini hood in the garage somewhere - I will have a look and get back to you.

Edit to add - the fittings for Defender and Series canvas hoods are quite different along the top of the windscreen - the Defender one does not use sharks tooth fittings. Euro-Leafing to infinity and beyond.....

Thanks Strang.
I am aware of the different fitment but I would be doing a completely custom job of fitting the hood anyway so would make either type work.

Cheers for the link. It may be an option. Seems to be a lot of that type of sales model with canvas stuff. I recently ordered some custom fit waterproof covers for some garden cushions on a UK website. About 2 weeks later they showed up direct from India.

Finally got some pics. There is some kind of 'hole' with a rubber surround at the rear of the hood - I have no idea what it is for, an Arial maybe, but it is damaged as you can see from the photos. It looks like it was intended to be there though as part of the hood. It is a bit faded as you can also see from the photos.
