Are you scared of your wife/husband??
So,
The question is, Are you scared of your other half??

Are you in a situation where you get your bits that you have ordered delivered to your work?
Do you smuggle bits in at night , or through the back door?
Under the cover of darkness?
Stash things in the garage / shed and secretly fit bits an the small hours when she's asleep??

Finding myself slipping into this terrible habit! Laughing

I do it all the time Laughing
I'm forever getting stuff delivered to my unit and not just for the Defender habit.
I had a new mountain bike last month that I had to keep the receipt well hidden from the wife.
As long as she thinks everything is cheap its OK.
Even had a Defender delivered to the unit before now and waited to tell her Rolling with laughter

I never thought of it as scared but I suppose its true VERY SCARED

My situation is slightly different...........My good lady always has a list of bits she wants for her 90,i get subtle(ish) hints such as the land rover mags left open with circles around stuff she wants. The fact that she is more than happy to have them as Christmas and birthday presents, makes shopping much easier.Result !

Am I frighten of Barbara? No

Do I get things delivered to work. YES Thumbs Up

Does she know about the price of things? YES She does the accounts and pays for most things Thumbs Up

There again of the last 4 Defenders bought for the family, the first three I had no input into them. The last one I actually saw before it got paid for out of my bank account. However I was not there when it got paid for.

So either man up or get the right gf/partner/wife Rolling with laughter

My ex-wife was OK with me buying for my Land Rovers and very rarely made a fuss. My supposed 'secret' weapon?

We also had a few horses and one that she had bought caused a bit of a problem getting a saddle to fit and the opportunity of Carte Blanche fell into my lap when I received a phonecall when we were at the yard together. It was a call from a courier company asking where she wanted the latest saddle delivered, same place as the other two they delivered last week? I hadn't been told that we had become a haven for every saddle that was for sale on ebay! Turned out there was 6 of them in the house! At least she did just about make a profit when she sold them again Rolling Eyes

My missus is fine with whatever I buy, she laughs at me when I buy stuff off eBay that isn't what i thought it was though!!

My mate has a set routine, anything in a small box only cost him a fiver, larger boxes a tenner and really big boxes went quid. Up to now its worked (or at least thats what she has led him to believe)
