As for waving at Grenadiers - given the comments on the dedicated forum, many owners seem to have a large Defender shaped chip on their shoulder... or they think Defender owners do!
Personally, my attitude is treat people as you'd like to be treated - if I'm in the G-wagen and see a nice Defender, I'll give the owner a thumbs up. If I'm in the Defender and I see someone in a car I appreciate, I'll do the same. Generally someone driving something interesting is 'a car person' and showing them you appreciate their non-conformist choice is probably going to put a smile on their face, so why not do it!  |
