Tdci LR Raised Air Intake
Hello all, very smart forum, i'm impressed. Excellent content too.

For my first post, I was wondering if anyone had a photo of their snorkels bought from LR themselves. I'm getting one and have spotted the fact that there are two part numbers doing the rounds. I would like the drain pipe mushroom topped one, not the flat style one.

Any thoughts / photos?

Many thanks,

Seb

Like you i dont like the new one and like the mushroom one. If your not careful you will get the new shape.

Have a look at duckworths for the part quickly Mike

Hi 110SEB
Iv'e just fitted the Mantec one to mine and it seems like a quality item, especially the price, 126 pounds.
Can you tell me how much the LR one is? if you know.

Thanks everyone. Does anyone kno wthe LR part No for the Mantec style one seen in AndrewS' pics - below.

I'm torn between the 2 styles now. LR went ahead and ordered the PHD500340 (mushroom kind) part despite me asking for confirmation of which one it was first. I've said i may buy it depending on which one it is. Finding out tomorrow.

Thanks TJ, I would order from Mantec direct, but it's a 'goodwill' gesture from LR - so a total freebie among, other things.

Reflecting on the choices, i find the mushroom kind go a little too high and would and do look fine on LRs with a roofrack, but our 110 doesn't have one. I'll see what tomorrow brings!

It sits with the top of the RAI about level with the roof. Haven't managed to snag it on a tree branch yet, but I also now have the roof rack. 110 2.4TDCi
