New type hand brake Assembley to 1993 200 tdi 110
Hi any one fitted newer type hand brake (cable straight to the back plate) to a 1993 200 tdi 110, after replacing shoes and cable its at full adjustment on the cable and the shoes are set / adjusted right , it seems very cleaves pin and yoke is worn out , was thinking of replace the whole lot. 2014 2.2 90 hard top , Warm M8000 , Scorpain winch bumper, Ashcroft rear atb

1971 Hybird 200tdi, 2 x truetracs,Extrem winch bumper, M8000, GKN overdrive & Coils 2" lift, Glynn Lewis cranked rear trail arms
1971 Series 3 88, Perkins 4203,M8000,SATs,O/D,

Have you adjusted it on back of the mechanism through seat box as well as drum end? Cheers

Yes and two different makes of cable used , no major wear on the drum either 2014 2.2 90 hard top , Warm M8000 , Scorpain winch bumper, Ashcroft rear atb

how many miles on the drum setup, which presumably came complete off a newer vehicle 2nd hand? Cheers

After 2nd new cable and yet another set of shoes, I put old cable next to the new ones , bearmach or britpart , were slightly different length , lots of WD40 and gentle heat ,freed it off and put one old back on , worked fine with more adjustment left too. In this world it seems to be such a wast that so many replacement parts are utter crap what a wast of raw materials! 2014 2.2 90 hard top , Warm M8000 , Scorpain winch bumper, Ashcroft rear atb
