LED sidelights
Hi, I have fitted the LED Wipac light kit (all clear indicators, side lights and rear lights) Compared to my LED headlights, the front side lights look quite yellow... are there any others available that are more white in colour...

The wipac LED sidelights I got from Paddock to replace some overly blue LEDS are a nice bright white with no hint of yellow. Unusual that the same brand is producing different outputs.

Headlights are JW Speaker if any relevance.

I have the combined side lights/drl's from JW Speaker. They give a nice pure white light. Also have the advantage of being secured from the back which makes them more difficult to remove for anyone wanting to disable your alarm sounder. Defender 90XS SW

I fitted a couple of these. Good colour and no issues with clearance, etc.

I went from RDX to Bearmach's own lights and too found their sidelights to be a 'natural white' which didn't really bother me as I don't have LED headlights. It would annoy me if I did though Laughing most led headlights I've seen tend to be a 'cool white'.

Only reason I changed is because my RDX indicators were a whiteish yellow and when I saw the bearmach ones on display they were a nice deep, bright orange. Plus I was having trouble with the RDX relay randomly flashing my trailer light. Bearmach also offer a 3 year warranty.

On reflection the RDX units are a much better design as they are completely sealed. I found out later that Bearmach's are not, they have a sort of tab that's supposed to let moisture out, but not in, however of a cold morning I've seen my units misted up inside which can't be doing them any good. In fact I need to take the reverse lamp back as it's full of water - I thought I'd moved away from these issues!

Back on subject, I've seen three different colour temperatures on defender LED's over the years - warm white (unknown) natural white (Bearmach) and cool white (RDX). Don't know about other makes... Now: 2010 2.4 TDCi 110 Utility Wagon
