United Kingdom 2007 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Tonga Green
I've used vango for years. Various sizes - i agree with the comment above about pop-up-ability - amongst otheers I have a huge tent that I can park the defender in. Got a bit carried away on the spec I think Whistle

They're a good alternative especially if you're on a budget and have a family to sleep. One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS

Got mine used, and they do come up quite often and many never even used (like mine), as people just brought it as an extra.

They do come up - we managed to find one last year via ebay. We haven't found a tunnel for it yet - I believe they were sold seperately and most didn't come with them.

We have a good condition Khyam Freelander that we are thinking of selling if you're interested. John

I like geodesic shapes and tipi shapes, they withstand weather far better. For speed of putting up, look at go lite shangri la 5 for example. A basic tarp of 4m x 3 m or 3x3 is very versatile too. true north or tatonka. I prefer to travel a bit lighter and you can work wonders with a tarp - I just made one for the side of the 90 using some box ally as the top securing point to the bars, then 2.2 M wide and 3 M long. team it with 2 6ft poles and you have a cheap and fantastic awning. Total cost 40 quid.

i'll also vouch for the Kyham jobbie...

my local dealer couldn't rid of these, so the manager was giving them away for 100 + vat...117.50 in old skool money, worth a punt i thought.

i'd recommend them or similar, served me well...
