Fitted Some Carbon Fibre Bits
Hi All,

I recently fitted some carbon fibre bits to my 110, I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but I'm quite pleased with it.

I've fitted a KBX Grill, Air Intake Vent, Carbon Mirror Heads and the Wing Vents. Also fitted LED lights all round including Headlights.

Next job on the list is a DRL bumper.

Hello JC80,
Perhaps you like carbon look and like idea of this gadget on my car?
I ask because I consider to produce this gadget for a friend who also has defender now and can not locate the item supplier.
I imagine I can produce one or two but if his search is no fruit soon. It is not real carbon fiber but faux.

That's what I was thinking but when I saw how much it all cost I thought I'd better be quiet. Ray

First and foremost the mirrors are not carbon, they are some "plastic effect" and cost 22.99 on ebay

With regards to the top vents and side vents, I doubt these are actual carbon and simply overlayed with carbon. I can't see that costing near 600 quid!
