1999 TD5 ignition comes on once key removed
Trying to iron out some small issued with a new to me TD5. One of them is that when you stop the engine and remove the key, the ignition (fuel pump and dash lights) then fire up again. My first port of call was going to be the ignition switch but before I replace that, are there any other usual culprits?

Thanks, Andy

I'd be looking very closely at the ignition switch. How do you cancel the fuel pump and the dash lights?

Do you turn it back far enough before pulling the key out?

Mine is a little worn and I can pull my key out with the engine running. Whistle Roel

It does 1 cycle i.e. fuel pump primes, shuts off and then the ignition lights etc go off
