Yes . but it is still a brick and the slow speed will not be increased that much by the remap.
I think their point is that remapping up to a certain point to increase response and smoothness is not likely to made it more risky, if it becomes more useable then their risk is reduced. My insurers have never increased my premiums as a result of any modifications to any of the six cars we have with them, I think it is just a matter of explaining to the relevant underwriter and ensuring that they know what is involved. The Defender Autobiography has a similar power output but has no loading because of the engine performance .
